Your liver is the hardest working organ in your body, and also the most commonly congested. It’s your liver’s job to distinguish between the nutrients you must absorb to live and the toxins that must be filtered out of your bloodstream by converting fat-soluble toxins into water-soluble waste.
The elimination of the waste happens through sweat, urine, and bowel movements. The liver is also responsible for moving hormones along once they’ve fulfilled their duties.
Do you ever feel like this? You've come home after a busy day, made dinner, got your kids squared away, and then suddenly want to ravage your cupboards for something salty or sweet? Or both? :-)
Perhaps you had a healthy day of eating and you feel like you "deserve a reward!" Boy do I know this feeling, and many of my clients do as well.
Today I'm writing about something near and dear to my heart, and that's estrogen dominance (ED). Why, you ask? This is something I've experienced the last couple years, so I'm quite close to it (and my guess is many of you are too). I've studied, researched, taken classes, and pretty much tried to become an expert in it, so I thought I'd share some knowledge with you all.
